Gaza is the world's largest open air prison. The West Bank is a prison, too, segmented into various wards, known as areas A, B and C. In fact, all Palestinians are subjected to varied degrees of military restrictions. At some level, they are all prisoners.
East Jerusalem is cut off from the West Bank, and those in the West Bank are separated from one another. Palestinians in Israel are treated slightly better than their brethren in the Occupied Territories, but subsist in degrading conditions compared to the first-class status given to Israeli Jews, as per the virtue of their ethnicity alone.

Saudi Arabia and the conflict’s other combatants must be held accountable for civilian suffering in Yemen, but the United States will also have to own up and explain its support for the Saudi-led campaign, which includes arms sales, intelligence, and logistical assistance.
The following should make friends and allies of Saudi Arabia, including the United States, question their embrace of such a brutally repressive government.

The Government's Prevent strategy should be broadened and focus on all communities to stop Muslims feeling singled out, Jeremy Corbyn has suggested. The Labour leader said the counter-terrorism strategy is "often counter-productive" and casts "suspicion" over the whole Muslim community in the UK.

Now 42, Parveen remembers her husband threatening to hurl her from the balcony of their home. She blinks back tears recalling his rage when she bore him a daughter and not a son.

Bilkis Bano did not die in the 2002 Gujrat carnage, which many felt had the blessings of the state government run by Narendra Modi, but she suffered countless deaths in the last 15 years.
It was in March 2002, when the Hindutva terrorists went berserk to avenge the burning of the Godhra train. The anti-Muslim genocide lasted for days without any effective intervention from Gujarat’s Modi government. Unofficially, more than 4,000 people lost lives, but the official figure describe the death toll at 1,200.

On May 3, Mahmoud Abbas, the Israeli-U.S. puppet who is the figurehead leader of the Palestinian Authority, met with his secondary puppet-master, U.S. President Donald Trump. What he promised in exchange for nothing is yet to be seen. At present he is working to undermine Hamas, the elected government of the Gaza Strip. He has refused to allow the construction of a desperately-needed power plant that even apartheid Israel approved, and is paying government employees in the Gaza Strip not to go to work, in an effort to cause dissatisfaction with Hamas.

Hamas has officially recognised the Palestine Liberation Organisation (PLO) as the "national framework" for the Palestinian people, but calls for it to be "rebuilt on democratic foundations to safeguard Palestinian rights".
The historic recognition is contained in a new "reference" document unveiled in Doha on Monday, and stands in stark contrast to its original charter which was written as an alternative to the PLO.

“Among all personal laws, I regard Muslim personal laws as most progressive,” Advocate Flavia Agnes said while speaking at a one day national seminar organized at Aliah University.
Agnes, who has written extensively on women related issues, added that the court ban on triple-talaq will prove ineffective as Muslim men may then start deserting their wives, like Narendra Modi did to his wife.
