India’s Hindutva Prime Minister Narendra Modi was on a three day visit from July 4 to 6 2017 to Israel, racist entity planted in Palestine, in the heart of Muslim Middle East, by the west after killing and kicking out Palestinians into refugee camps in neighboring countries.
In the 1930s and 40s when British colonial power and Zionist Jews started bringing in migrant Jews to establish the state of Israel, father of the nation Mahatma Gandhi bitterly opposed it saying; Palestine belong to Palestinians in the same way Britain belong to British and France belong to French.
Surely it would be a crime against humanity to reduce the Arabs so that Palestine can be restored to the Jews as their national home. The nobler course would be to insist on a just treatment of the Jews wherever they are born and bred”.
However, today’s rulers of India are not followers of Gandhi’s Ahimsa but followers of violent Rastriya Swayamsevak Sangh, RSS, whose member Godse killed Mahatma Gandhi and thus his message of peace.
Therefore, Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Israel is not a surprise. India established diplomatic relations with Israel in 1950 and the relationship remained informal. However, these ties began to flourish since 1990 under RSS -BJP government.
What is common to both Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Prime Minister Narendra Mody, and in fact Zionists and RSS, is that their extreme common hatred towards Islam and Muslims. The two are soaked in Muslim blood.
Zionists have committed 63 massacres and genocides of Palestinians since 1940s. Killing Palestinians has been a routine affair for Netanyahu who committed genocide of Palestinians in Gaza while Prime Minister Modi must his record genocide of Gujarati Muslims in February 2002. Today under Modi’s government killing and lynching of Muslims by his Cow Vigilante murderous thugs has become a routine affair while the government, police and even judiciary remain indifferent. This has driven terror among Muslims in North India who live in an atmosphere of fear As the Palestinians suffer under Israeli oppression for almost eight decades.
The tragedy is that these two prime ministers shamelessly pledge to fight terrorism demonstrating the fast-declining cherished human values by societies worldwide.
One columnist pointed out that “United States under the direction and influence of Israel and pro-Israel groups is behind the major push for closer ties among the US- Israel and India to counter growing ties between Islamic Pakistan and China. Tension between India and Pakistan is good for Israel. The US India Israel Axis is good for Israel.
There were numerous reports of Israel and its powerful lobbies in the west helping Modi and his BJP during 2014 election campaigns to ensure his victory. There were reports of Israel spending around 280 crores rupees on BJP election campaign.
However, this visit spells disaster for the Middle East, now being turned into a killing field by Israel in its drive to create Greater Israel by annexing part of Syria, Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan and even Iraq.
Modi’s failure to visit the Israeli occupied territory of Ramallah, traditionally done by political leaders visiting Israel to hoodwink the world, sent a clear message that India, once in the forefront in all international forums championing Palestinian rights, has virtually abandoned the Palestinians.
This was not the first time that India ignored Palestinians. For example, Indian Home Minister Rajnath Singh refused to visit Ramallah when he visited Israel. That was the contempt the BJP leaders have for the brutalized and oppressed Palestinians.
India could do this due to the political turmoil in the region created by US led war mongers.
Today India and Israel enjoy extensive economic, military and strategic relationship. India is the largest buyer of Israeli military equipment and Israel is the second-largest defense supplier to India after Russia. From 1999 to 2009, the military business between the two nations was worth around $9 billion. Military and strategic ties between the two nations extend to intelligence sharing and joint military training too.
Relations further expanded with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's administration abstaining from voting against Israel in the United Nations in several resolutions.
Commenting on this columnists Sanjeev Miglani in New Delhi and Tova Cohen in Israel had this state; India has traditionally trodden a careful diplomatic line in the region wary of upsetting Arab states and Iran - upon whom it relies for its vast imports of oil - and its large Muslim minority.
"Narendra Modi's visit to Israel will only strengthen its occupation of Palestine," said Asaduddin Owaisi, a member of India's federal parliament from a regional group that promotes Muslim rights.
The scale of the ongoing collaboration with Israel dwarfs anything India is attempting with the Palestinians, officials say. India is busy with a military modernization program worth more than $100 billion to counter rivals Pakistan and China.
On paper, India remains friendly to the Palestinians and to Mahmoud Abbas, who New Delhi calls the "president of Palestine", not of the Palestinian Authority. However, his visit to India in May was low-key and the declaration India made in support of a two-state solution notably failed to mention East Jerusalem as Palestine’s future capital.
The big risk for Israel in the budding friendship is Indian democracy.
Unlike China, where decisions are made by the leadership in Beijing, Indian politicians are answerable to voters and power shifts from one party to another. In the event of another bloody war with Hezbollah or Hamas, or Israeli arms sales to China, which India sees as a strategic rival, Modi could find Israel to be a problem. A government led by the rival Congress Party would in general be less friendly.
Those concerns could explain why the agreements the two sides approved this week include ways of strengthening people-to-people contact through tourism and other means. For all the Israel-admiration that the elite of army officers and BJP politicians show, for most Indians, the Jewish state is a distant country of which they know little about.
