Proves what Alexander the Great Predicted 2300 years ago.
He said “it is easy to get into Afghanistan, but impossible to get out”
On Wednesday 19 December 2018, US President Donald Trump unexpectedly announced that he has ordered all U.S. forces to leave Syria .The reason given was that mission, defeating the ISIS, was accomplished.
According to independent western columnists ISIS was the creation of US and Israel as in the case off al Qaeda and Taliban. These two countries equipped and trained the ISIS to demonize Islam to justify their military involvement to destroy Syria. According to reports injured ISIS militants were taken for treatment to Israel where army officers were in charge of ISIS operations in Syria.
Jewish controlled western media, integral part of US led European- Russian and Israeli war machine, played a crucial role in projecting ISIS as an extremist Islamic movement to establish Islamic rule, Caliphate, to mislead the world.
However the target of destroying Syria to destabilize Muslim Middle East and create greater Israel which would be the supreme power in the newly created Middle East subservient to Judeo-Christian dictates was achieved.
This in a nutshell is the ultimate purpose of the very well planned and executed genocide in Syria.
Syria’s rich cultural history dates back more than 8,000 years. It is an economically fast-growing lower-middle-income country . Agriculture, industry, tourism, and oil are economic mainstays. Healthcare and primary and secondary education are free.
When the Arab Uprising began sweeping North Africa and toppling dictators one after the other including the Egypt’s tyrant Hosni Mubarak, Syrians who were oppressed and brutalized by Damascus president turned butcher Bashar Al Assad, also came out on peaceful demonstration seeking some freedom. All what the Syrians wanted was, for example, if a family was taken to custody they wanted to know where he or she was held and what his plight and the like.
Peaceful protests in southern cities in March 2011 were met with violent crackdowns by Asad’s forces. Asad refused to yield to people’s humane request. Instead he began arresting, torturing and killing demonstrators besides bombing residential areas and indiscriminately killing innocent men, women and children.
Opposition groups failed to unite and hopes of Arab Spring reforms were dashed by armed repression.
Russia, which has its own anti-Muslim agenda and design on Middle East, and Iran hell bent on saving Shite tyrant Al Asad, joined the killing spree .Israel ,United States, Britain and France together with their Arab stooges Saudi Arabia, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates joined the bombing, killing and destruction under various pretexts.
The result was the seven year old war and the indiscriminate destruction of this ancient country which is today a wasteland. US, Britain, France and Russia inflicted the worst destruction with their bombings which indiscriminately massacred people.
So far more than 5 .5 million Syrians who lived happily in their own homes ended up in refugee camps while more than 6.5million were internally dispersed. Country is in ruins and the entire infra-structure remain in shamble.
Lebanon, Turkey and Jordan are hosting most of the Syrian refugees, many of whom attempt to journey onwards to Europe in search of better conditions only to face extreme hostility and sufferings
Today Asad still presides over a country that is a shadow of its former self.
Russian President Vladimir Putin is trying to rehabilitate Assad despite his war crimes. He was reported to have dispatched Sudanese dictator Omar Al Bashir to visit Syria and meet Bashar. In fact Bashir went to Syria in a Russian flight- .Did Putin bribe Bashir?
Once happy Syrians crowding for food aid.
The Trump administration has also ordered the military to start withdrawing roughly 7,000 troops, -about half the number, from Afghanistan .This was an abrupt shift in the 17-year-old war there and the decision that stunned Afghan officials.
This shows that both Russia and US failed in their military venture in Afghanistan.
Afghans are fiercely proud of their heritage and cherish their freedom in a system of tribal organization that is reinforced by Islam.
The outline of Afghanistan’s history in modern times, as well as in antiquity, has focused on vast armies of the world passing through its territory, temporarily establishing local control. Indeed, Afghan legend, poetry and myth are replete with stories of wars and victories against astonishing odds, and heroic individual struggles.
From the Victorian-era more than a century ago and more recently during the Soviet incursion and the subsequent US invasion, the Afghans have proved highly resourceful and resilient warriors. During the peak of the British Empire they drove out the powerful British invaders and in more recent times the mighty army of the Soviet Union, which was then a superpower no less. Helped by its harsh and rugged landscape the warrior-poets have repulsed the formidable armies of the world’s greatest nations, cutting the seemingly invincible conquerors down to size.
The tragedy began when the then Soviet leader Leonid Brezhnev, dispatched troops on a December winter day in 1979, and installed a communist Afghan puppet Barbrak Karmal as its leader.
This triggered off a political crisis which virtually destroyed the delicate and unique Afghan political system, its infrastructure and economy and caused untold misery to its poverty stricken people. In Moscow’s brutal military offensive, thousands of innocent Afghan men, women, children and the aged, were massacred and maimed, destroyed the entire fabric of this deeply religious society.
In the decade following the Soviet invasion in 1979, 1.5 million Afghans were killed, another million were injured and disabled, 6.2 million fled to Pakistan, Iran, and the rest of the world, and 2.2 million more were internally displaced. The monetary damages sustained by Afghanistan during this period were estimated at approximately $644.8 billion.
Kirill Koktysh of the Moscow Institute of International Relations said in his book that the war turned out to be destructive for both Afghanistan and the Soviet Union. Half of Afghanistan’s agriculture sector was wiped out and 70 percent of its paved roads destroyed. Some 5,000 of the country’s 15,000 villages were destroyed or economically ruined due to damage to roads and wells.
Moscow finally withdrew its troops in February 1989, only to see the Soviet Union itself collapse later. The Afghan resistance was supported by the United States, China, and Saudi Arabia for different reasons.
After Soviet forces left, a number of Afghan factions continued to fight for control of the country. The Taliban Islamic militia came to power in 1994.
In the footsteps of his father late President George Bush who tricked Saddam Hussein to invade Kuwait and triggered the Gulf war only to destroy and massacre Iraqis and destabilized the entire Gulf, George Bush Junior exploited the 9/11 attacks to force a coalition and invade Afghanistan within 27 days to topple Taliban government.
He also began massacring Afghans and destroyed what is left of the destruction by Soviet Union.
The US invasion of Afghanistan: the longest war in US history, is also one of the costliest and deadliest conflicts the US has ever fought. The US alone has spent around $700 billion on its war in Afghanistan.
Though the number of US casualties were very high, they give wrong figures to mislead the people.
In an article in the Weekly Standard columnist Homas Joscelyn said on 18 October 2018 that “America has lost the war in Afghanistan. Washington may not want to admit it, and the U.S. military insists the conflict is a “stalemate.” But make no mistake: The original 9/11 war has been lost”.
And now comes Trump’s announcement withdrawing 7000 of Troops from Afghanistan.
Alexander the Great once said that Afghanistan is a country where you can get in easily, but never be able to pull out. This was proved by the defeat of Soviet Union and the US now.
Will there be war crimes tribunals to try Soviet Union, now Russia, and US for the destruction and the killings the Afghans suffered for almost 40 years. Impossible because the genocide and destruction were caused by super powers and the victims were innocent Muslims. Ends
